History

October 1967 Capital fund 1,000,000 yen
Built a factory (35㎡) as Iwashita Mold Manufacturing.
Started the business of manufacturing molds for car bodies and parts.
April 1971 Expanded the factory to 70㎡.
September 1975 Expanded the factory to 220㎡ for the purpose of enhancement of equipment and improvement of operating efficiency.
Added a Die Spotting Press for improving operating efficiency.
October 1976 Increased the paid-up capital to 5,000,000 yen.
August 1980 Expanded the factory to 370㎡ for dealing with increased orders.
November 1980 Introduced a large NC planer-type tracing machine ahead of other companies.
October 1982 Increased the paid-up capital to 15,000,000 yen.
August 1985 Newly built factory (1,000㎡) and Administration Office Building (105㎡) to improve the layout for better operating process efficiency.
Introduced a 500t trial press.
October 1990 Newly built Yabuzuka Machining Factory.
Introduced a digitizer CAD/CAM system, also introduced 3 planer-type machining units, and started to manufacture molds using optical fibers under complete concavo-convex number control.
April 1991 Changed the company name to IKKIS Co., Ltd.
August 1997 Expanded the Finishing Factory by 1,000㎡.
August 1998 Added a 3D Laser Cutting Machine.
August 2000 Expanded the Finishing Factory by 1000㎡.

2006 Expanded the Third Finishing Factory by 1500㎡.

Added 3D Non-Contact-Measuring Machine VECTRON.
Added 20t and 7.5t cranes.
2007 Expanded the Servo Press Factory and the Prototype Testing Factory by 1000㎡.
1000t Hybrid Servo Press (Komatsu).
Added a 15t crane with coil line and a 5t crane.
2010 Added a large 5-Axes Machining.
March 2013 3 members of staff accredited as the Mold Meisters by Gunma Die and Mold Association.
October 2016 Added a large 5-Axes Machining.
